"When the Obama stimulus plan was proposed, the president's economic team put out a report in January 2009 (http://otrans.3cdn.net/45593e8ecbd339d074_l3m6bt1te.pdf) that purported to show what would happen with and without the fiscal stimulus. The chart above is from page four of that report, together with the actual results over the past couple months. As you can see, the actual outcome is significantly worse than the projection with the stimulus plan and is, in fact, roughly on track with what was projected without the stimulus."

This evening, at 11:15 p.m., the House of Representatives voted to pass their health insurance reform bill. Despite countless attempts over nearly a century, no chamber of Congress has ever before passed comprehensive health reform. This is history."

Where to begin, where to begin..... Let's start with the way we use the word "reform". If you destroy something, are you reforming it? Were the 9-11 attacks "Architectural Reform"? In 1941, did the Japanese Air Force carry out a policy of "Naval Reform" at Pearl Harbor? Did Jack The Ripper carry out a policy of Prostitute Reform? Yes, this is history.

"But you and millions of your fellow Organizing for America supporters didn't just witness history tonight -- you helped make it. Each "yes" vote was a brave stand...."

Brave? Person A takes money from person B to give to person C, so that C will support A in the next election? That's bravery?

Nancy Pelosi's Chilling Congessional Doublespeak #libertyideals

But it gets much worse. Regarding any state that chooses to exercise its Tenth Amendment rights by nullifying ObamaCare:

[Pelosi]:"A state is free to refuse the support and refuse to assist the federal government in administering the program, but Congress can authorize the federal government to administer the program on its own. Thus, Congress cannot force a state to administer a health insurance exchange, but it can authorize the federal government to administer such an exchange in any state that declines to do so."

So, even in states like Arizona, Kansas, Alaska, and others, where voters may choose to reject the federal takeover, Pelosi is claiming that Congress has the constitutional authority to “administer” the program anyway.

And where do you suppose they will get the money for that? No doubt at gunpoint from the very voters that have already rejected the program.
There is only one word to describe this kind of self-righteous arrogance: Chilling.
